My life process:
Giving up control, not to people, to a g-d spirit, to the Tao, for the Shekinah’s guidance to being in the Ein Sof.
Laying the strongest energies, into the open, Sacrificing personal ego for the collective symbolic meaning,
Honoring the moment of convergence with the most authentic, raw, and soul-filled offering.
Hinton often points to the paradox: the deeper the surrender, the greater the participation in the cosmos. So to sacrifice my best beasts, may be referring to offering my best work, only when this work starts in the generative, in the dark enigma, coming forth through heart-mind clarity.
Move with sincerity: authenticity… when genuinely creating, one needs to shed an old skin to be authentic and inwardly aligned. Insincere or performative revolutions will fail. It is in using the hinge, that pivotal moment, when transformation becomes possible. It’s a Taoist image: the hinge is the pivot of Dao itself. If you work skillfully at the hinge, your change resonates everywhere—like a door turning, opening up the world.
